Nelson sees Webber as full-time starter

OAKLAND — Chris Webber has started 819 of 822 games in his NBA career, and he's not going to begin coming off the bench now.

Warriors coach Don Nelson said Monday that beginning with Thursday's game against the Chicago Bulls, Webber will be his fourth permanent starter, taking a slot alongside Baron Davis, Monta Ellis and Stephen Jackson.

Since Nelson and Chris Mullin, the Warriors executive vice president, feel that one of Webber's greatest strengths comes in enhancing the production of his four teammates on the floor, what better way to maximize that trait than by putting him with Golden State's best players?

"I think he should start," Nelson said. "I'm planning on starting him every game."

Nelson said he'll primarily use either Andris Biedrins or Al Harrington as his fifth starter, with Matt Barnes mixed in when the Warriors are looking to go small.

The couple were spotted at a very non-Hollywood place, Ye Coach & Horses in LA, trying to fly under the radar. A spy for the Los Angeles Times described their interaction as "canoodling."

Last we saw Christina she was making out with her ex-husband, Jonathon Schaech. Guess that reunion didn't go over well.

Anyway, we think Zach is super cute -- back in September we picked him as one of our Sexy Guys of Fall TV.

I guess Christina agrees.

Circus denies its use of animals is ‘cruel’

They have refused to respond to us and they don't see anything wrong with using animals, but it is cruel and unnecessary," he said.

"The animals are subjected to large amounts of travelling and humiliation when they are performing. It's not a form of entertainment.

"At the end of day, when people have left to go home, the animals will be locked away in cages."

He called on people to boycott the circus and demonstrate outside it to persuade others to do the same, encouraging people to choose "human circuses" instead.

Steve Norman, animal rights spokesman for Barnet Green Party said: "The shopping centre should not be promoting it and should have their own business ethics, which should include points against animal circuses.

"It is an outdated and antiquated form of entertainment."

Martin Burton, proprietor of Zippos Circus, said: "We respect the right to free speech but everyone should be clear that the number of people campaigning against animals in circuses are a minority.
